Mitch and I are so sorry to hear about Gene's passing. We enjoyed many years of friendship with him and Bonnie in the Sauk Trails Optimist Club. I remember Gene as pretty much always smiling. We will keep you in our prayers and send our sincere condolences... to Bonnie and all the family members.

Nonnie and family I was very shocked to see that Gene has passed away. Many good memories of working with him at the Wisconsin Historical Society.

Bonnie, We are so sorry to learn of Gene's passing. He was such a wonderful person who was always upbeat and kind. I know he loved his family dearly and he will be lovingly missed by everyone who knew him, he certainly made his mark on life.
