Not sure what to say?

Gene was an invaluable leader in development of the Audubon Center of the North Woods in Sandstone. We will miss his insight and dedication as a long time board member.
Sincerely,
Mary Ellen Vetter

Dear Sheryl and family,

My heartfelt sympathy. May you know that Gene and all of you are in my prayers,

Love,

Ingrid

JoAnne was a good friend in high school and I was devastated when she died.I met Gene at the Vasa 150th celebration as many of my ancestors were part of the first community-Vasa/Featherstone township. I am sorry for his passing.

Gene was a great man. He always found a way to make something good happen for people. His love of people, business, nature and the outdoors exemplified his diverse interests. Thank you, Gene for all of the positive contributions you made while here on God's green earth! Gene will be missed!

Mr. Steele was a great friend to the Audubon Center of the North Woods. He helped our organization in so many ways, and we share our deepest condolences with his family.

Chris & Jon, so deeply sorry to read of your father's passing. You may remember me as your babysitter from across the street on Arona.

Gene was truly a loving and caring man. We had the pleasure of knowing him for the past 15 years..Sheyrl, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Hugs and tears, Gretchen and Steve Badalich
