Not sure what to say?

From everyone at Honor Flight Upstate, we always remember Gene and have been so blessed with his friendship. He touched countless lives just as he had helped save the same in WWII. We will miss him terribly. Another member of The Greatest Generation passed on to his final, ultimate reward.

Mr. Tabbot was one of the kindest men I have ever met. He always had that beautiful smile and a willing heart. I am so sorry we will not be able to be there for his memorial service since we are on quarantine being exposed to the virus on Saturday. I will always remember him as being Jesus to all those he came in contact with. God bless you Debbie and your family. Your daddy was surely a precious man.

Debbie,
Your Daddy was one of the most gracious, kind, genuinely friendly, encouraging example of a Christian Man I've ever had the priviledge of knowing. Always an encouragement to me personally, will truly be missed by many. May the Lord give you and your family peace during this time of grief and transition

Mr Tabbott was a wonderful man. He was my mothers teacher and later became my principal at Carlisle Elementary. He remembered his students even as we grew up, and I had the great pleasure of speaking to him several times as an adult. He will be greatly missed and always remembered. Fly high sweet man. My prayers are with the family. He was a precious man who touched many lives.

Mr. Tabbot was my principal at Carlisle Elementary. He was such a kind man, always understanding and giving out good advice and smiles. He even saved me from a very stern teacher who sent me to his office because I wasn’t smiling during operetta practice! Sheila Sanford Gregory
