Not sure what to say?

On behalf of the University Michigan School of Education, I extend our deepest
sympathies to Scott's family, friends, and colleagues. His passion for teaching and for children brought him to our ELMAC program for a career change, and he began making a difference as soon as he arrived here. As a teacher at Burns Park Elementary, Scott was still highly engaged in partnership with the School of Education, supporting the development not only of his own students, but of U-M students and...

Scott was a phenomenal educator. He taught our daughter Beatrix in both second and third grade, and she and the other students adored him and learned so much. He will truly be missed, and always remembered with great affection by us all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this time of sorrow. Know that Scott is in the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, and you will be reunited in His glory again.

So very sorry to read this. The entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always. Hosea 13:14

So sorry to hear about your loss. I remember Scotty as a little boy with a big smile. May God grant the family peace.

My sincere condolences to Scotty's family. May God place His loving arms around your family now and forever! No words can be formed that will deaden the pain. The pain will just lessen with time. I send my love and support to you all from me and mine from Chicago. God bless.McLane "Mac" Lomax
