Dear Mrs Thorn, MaryJean and Danny,
I am so sorry for your loss. When Donald called us in Myrtle Beach to tell us about Mr. T my heart was broken for you and for all who were lucky enough to have known such a terrific, giving, life-loving, gentle man. I will always have fond memories of the times we spent together camping, at picnics, boy scout events, or just having a good laugh. Boy was he full of life! When our family moved to Elizabeth and I started lafayette Jr. H.S., Gene became a very good freind. He, Lloyd Stauder, Henry O'Brien and George Stern were in many classes together and were very close. I know he will be missed.
