Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I knew Gene briefly when I was a teenager. I have memories of him being a great husband and even better father. I feel blessed to have known him, if only for a short time and many years ago. He was a very cool Uncle and I am sorry for his family.
Thank GOD there is no more pain or suffering for him. He is in GOD"s hands now.
So sorry for you Debbie Jo and your family. What a great father and husband he was. He will be missed. My...

Margie and family, I am so sorry for you loss. I remember Gene as a great, happy lovable guy. I think of you every time I am in town and go past the old house I babysat in. I'm sure you will feel an empty spot in your heart....I just wanted you to know that you are all in our prayers. Blessings. Mary Jo (Willis) Anderson, Houston, TX

Margie I am so sorry for your lost I lost my mom August 1 and it dont get any easier, but one thing we can remeber they are not suffering any more. God bless all of you.
Its been along time since I seen you.

Uncle Gene was a well respected and amazing man. I always remember him as a strong remarkable leader in our family. His humor always put a smile on my face and made being around him thoroughly enjoyable. I looked up to him and admired him for being such a hard worker and such a great family man too. Now I believe he is at peace with god and our other relatives in heaven (probably laughing and having a blast). He has created a remarkable legacy.
