I have such fond memories of walking to the Pioneer Food Store as a child for my mom. There is where I first met Gene who was always a sweet and true gentleman. Who could have imagined then that years later I would have his daughter, Suzanne, in my class when I began teaching in Charlestown. As a faithful member of his church, I know he is now at peace with the Lord.
