Dear Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Gene was an extremely kind person. I had the opportunity to meet him many times over the years. My father, Marv Post, worked with Gene at Opus. I will never forget many years ago, it was a very, very cold winter day when my mother and I had a flat tire. Gene was driving by and noticed us. Even though he had no gloves on his hands he was happy to change the tire for us. It was a kindness I will never forget.

How ironic it is that I, who is never at a loss for words and could talk the leg off a wooden horse, cannot put together the words to adequately express my sorrow at Gene's passing. How lucky I was to have known him!! I am so sorry of your loss, and if I could I would gladly lighten your burden.

How lucky I was to have known him!! Just know that I am sorry for your loss, and that if I could I would gladly do anything to make your burden lighter.

Dear Judy and family:
I went to the newspaper to see if there was any entry for Dee in the obituaries and found both Dee's and Gene's write up. My heart goes out to you and yours at this time as no words can express the magnitude of loss. Please know that you are in my prayers at this time. Peace be onto you and your family.
