Eugene J. Tylenda

I´ve been thinking about Gene a lot.He would have loved the recent election results. Miss talking politics with him. Rest in peace, dear friend and relative.

Mr. Tylenda was my neighbor for 24 years. He was a kind, funny and interesting man. One morning when leaving for school, I found him out between our homes planting a tree. I offered to help him and we dug the hole and set the tree. Almost monthly we would chat about the progress of that tree which, as you can see in the photo below, now towers over both of our homes. Gene was one of a kind...brilliant, thoughtful, and resourceful. He loved numbers! I will miss his conversations and views. My condolences to his family for I know he will be missed. Eileen Kerr
