Dr. Eugene J. Van Scott

My condolences to the family. We just heard the sad news. My family and I have been neighbors of Dr. Van Scott for 50 years. I've known Dr. Van Scott since I was in college in the mid-70's and my Dad would bring me down to tend to the landscaping needs of #1 and #2 Hidden Lane. While we saw each other over the years frequently as he drove by or as we worked outside on our respective properties, we never communicated until the last 15 years. My brother and I were both born with Ichthyosis and were patients of Dr. VanScott in the 1960´s until about the mid 80´s. Dr. VanScott was brilliant, committed to his research and devoted to his patients. I have never forgotten his smile. He made you feel like you were his most important patient. My brother and I were blessed to have been under his care. My deepest sympathies to his family.
