Gene was a Central classmate in our Junior and Senior years. He was quiet and smart! I sometimes (borrowed) his homework, especially in Bookkeeping!!!!
I never saw Gene after graduation day in June of 1954.
My prayers go out to you during this sorrowful time.

I had the privilege of working with Gene dating back to 1982 when we both worked at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York City. Gene had a wealth of friends and was blessed with a unique sense of humor. We worked well together as long as I did not whistle -- Gene hated whistling!
I lost contact with Gene when me moved from Manhattan back to his hometown of Pittsburgh. But I will forever cherish the friendship we had.
Rest in peace my friend.
