So sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I missed it because we no longer get the Press. I have fond memories of your family, especially Wendy from Coffee Break, Lois and Eleanor from all the women's activities and, of course, Gene with his handsome goatee. Deepest sympathies to you all.

I am very thankful that family was able to say their goodbyes to him at the hospital. That can mean so much.
Uncle Gene helped build the house that I grew up in. I got to see him the most, of my mom's siblings because he lived across the street and we were out at the cottage together.
I liked his smile and little glint in his eye when he thought something was funny.
He is loved and will be missed.

Uncle Eugene was a great guy.
I am so glad we starting going to the "Hodde" dinners a few yrs back. It was/is a great way to stay connected to our aunts & uncle. We have lost 3 of you in a little over a year. So glad we had those times together (as well as all the fun times we had together in our younger years).
