Dear Karen,
I am so sad to learn of Eugene's passing. I have many memories as a child visiting Aunt Nellie and Uncle Mike and my cousins. Eugene was the one I looked up to (since I was a child and he was a teenager) at that time. He was always coming and going, truly a typical teenager but in retrospect, an example of his nature to explore and experience life was evident even then. Karen, I am very sorry to hear about Eugene. I have fond memories of seeing him thoughout my childhood. I especially liked coming to your house with my Dad and spending time in the trophy room. It always amazed me seeing all the animals. I also really liked going to the traveloges that Eugene would do after one of his trips. I think the British Columbia one was my favorite. Dear Karen: I am so sorry to hear of Eugene's passing. My dad called last night and was real upset. I think they will be over possibly Friday & Saturday, he thought the WORLD of Eugene & told everyone about him and his hunting & trucking stories etc. I am thinking you of today and pray that you will find peace & strength from our God to get you through the next few days.
