I had the distinct pleasure of inviting Father Watrin to dinner in 1980 at Kathmandu. I knew very little about him, I learned after the fact of his many accomplishments. Even so during this dinner I sensed something special about him.

We are hardly running Social Action Volunteers(SAV) activities at Kanti Children's Hospital since 1988 to till this date. Fr watrin and me we dad been started a small unitof social work at the hospital, which is only one children hospital in nepal and many underprivileged sick patients are getting various services by us.It would be better if I could receive the contact emailof his sr helen khole.

I meet Fr. Gene in the late 70's He was giving a talk at St. Xavier in Cincinati.
At that time I was attending Tri-County Assembly of God now I back Thanks to Scott Hahn and I believe Fr. Gene Prayer to the Catholic Church I remenber he said I was blessed I went to his 60th Jubilee and pray to him often

Fr. Watrin was our English Literature Teacher at GAA during our O'Level-1983. I volunteered in his Gongabu heathcare and house building mission with Rev. Fr. My respect to those great social activists who proved their life by doing and sharing. The best part of Fr. Watrin was his simplicity and his bike-rides. Amazing to see the sacrifice these Americans...

I met Fr. Watrin in 1963 in Katmandu at the airport when, he so kindly met me on my flight from Saudi Arabia. I had brought him some items sent by his cousin in Dhahran. During my stay he was very helpful in helping me get more than 'a tourist view' of Nepal. He put me in touch with a WHO Nurse, who arranged my visit to a local hospital and he took me to the Jesuit schools where I met Fr. Moran. I in return invited Father and Nurse Smith (also from Dayton, Ohio) to dinner at my...

Hello.

I had the pleasure of meeting Fr. Watrin during his last trip to Cincinnati, Ohio.

I am currently creating a series of paintings of Fr. Watrin's work and ministry in Nepal and I am looking for photo references upon which I can base my paintings.

You may contact me at [email protected]

Thanks,

Brian

It's so ironic that Fr. Watrin has had a big influence on me even though I have not actually talked to him. His presence was all that was necessary.

I still remember the time in the SET EXhibition 2004, where he was the chief guest.

I was among the designing team for the SET Magazine. And, when the SET Magazine 2004 was offically launced by him. I remember his words "wow!!!, this magazine is great".

These words are surely the best that i can get in for the...
