Eugene Webb Obituary
Macon, Georgia- Eugene F. Webb passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Dawid Kwaitkoski officiating. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville, GA at 2:30 pm. A rosary will be said on Monday, July 16, at 6:00 pm at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street.
Mr. Webb was born in Columbus, GA to the late Alva E. Webb and Izora Wade Webb. He was preceded in death by two children: Janice L. Parker and Russell M. Webb. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. During his time of service, he received the American Defense Service Ribbon, the American Theater Ribbon, one Silver Star, and three Bronze Stars. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where he served as an extraordinary Eucharist communion minister.
Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Sarah Y. Webb of Macon; his children: Mary Frances Marsh (Palmer) of Atlanta, Susan Pritchard (Steve) of Macon, Paul E. Webb of St. Augustine, FL, Peggy E. Still (Julius) of Macon, and Steve O. Webb (Ann) of Macon; ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

This is your cousin, Pam Fussell Winegarden. My heart is broken as all the wonderful memories of my beloved Uncle come flooding over me. I loved him so very much. My mom, his sister, adored the ground he walked on. I would have come, but Mom is very ill and very close to going home to God. She will be with him soon and I know with all my heart that they will truly be in paradise together.I left a message on Susan's phone, please call me when you are up to it. Even though, I couldn't come for the funeral, please know that I have always love Uncle Gene, Aunt Sarah, and my darling sweet cousins even though we have been far apart, you have always been in my memories and heart with the greatest love.
