Eugene Marion Wells

Gene was the highlight of many days working on / around Redstone Arsenal. Great sense of humor, outstanding attention to detail, a listening ear, terrific advice, and a mentoring friend. I haven't seen him since he retired, but thought of him often. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Sorry to hear about Gene. It has been about 50 years since I saw him. Smart guy. Good on the Trombone. I lived 3 doors down the street on Maynard Terrace in East Atlanta. He was 3 years older than me. His sister Alice and I were good buddies. Always played together along with the Wiggins. Alice send me a message if you want to say hello.

He was my sister´s good friend. A very nice guy. We were family friends as well. Alice was closer to my age. Very sorry for your loss. Regina Moon Tyre

Gene was my best friend for over 50 years. We attended East Atlanta High School and Georgia Tech together. We had fun in Hawaii and Alaska together. He always wanted to be an Astronaut and now he is teaching angels to fly among the stars. God speed my friend. Love always, Alvin White

Carol, I am so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He tutored my daughter while she was in college. He had a gift for that and we appreciated him. Praying for you and your family. Hugs to you. Marvene
