I have 61 years of happy memories to give me smiles all over again. Gene and I worked together at Anzac, and always worked together solving the unsolvable. Every time we spoke on the phone, we picked up where we had left off, our souls were that interwoven. We shared dreams and laughed away disappointments, and I never lost my smile of recognition when I answered his phone call. I'll miss his quirky humor, and his love.

I am so sorry to hear about Gene's death. He was such a nice man, with a "can-do" and "never give up" spirit. I know his family will miss him greatly, as well as his friends.
