Not sure what to say?

I was thinking of Gene the other day and His wife Mary Ann. How lovely they are and I walked past an Angel they gave me for my tree and it is so pretty and made me smile. I hope all your wonderful memories comfort you. Nan

Gene was one who made a difference in our lives. Spiritual and a touch of naughty. Thoughtful and would say the earnest thing sometimes to make us laugh. Peace, my friend.

I knew Gene growing up when his family lived on Armin, and his Dad worked at the Erie Railroad with my Mom. Later I enjoyed his friendship as a member os St. Luke Parish. A fellow Alumni of St. St. Clements Grade School, and St. Edward High School. His humor was his trademark, as well as his caring for not only his family but his friends. Life is just not the same without Gene around. My thoughts and prayers to Mary Ann and the entire Whelan Family.

Dear MaryAnn:
We just learned of Gene's Passing. Lenny and I are sending our deepest sympathy and prayers. May God bless you and your family and give you comfort during this difficult time. May Gene rest in peace. He will be missed.

U are always in our thoughts, your light constantly shines in me. The kids and I talk to you often and laugh at so many funny and happy times. As we pray now for you, we light a candle to remember your larger than life presence ..., we love and miss you dad, XO Mo

Dear Whelan Family,
I was in the St. Edward Class of 1963 with Gene. I worked in the Athletic Dept. when Gene played football. He was always a great athlete and a kind person. I am sure he is "Head Coach" of the "ANGELS" Football Team in Heaven. God Bless You All.

May God bless all of you during this difficult time. May the love of family and friends help you. All of you now have 2 angels to watch over you. May your wonderful memories guide you now. Have faith in God as you journey ahead.

My prayers and sympathy to you Mary Ann and all of your family for the passing of your husband. May God give you the comfort and peace you need. May Gene rest in the peace of Christ.
