He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Eugene Whittaker, Penelope Whittaker, Paul Whittaker, Christopher Whittaker, Amber Whittaker, Victoria Whittaker Mergist, Taylor Whittaker and Kalie Whittaker and several great-grandchildren.
