I had the pleasure of knowing and working with this wonderful man for the last decade and feel blessed to have been in his presence, one of the truly gentleman's gentleman. My prayers are with Eugene and his wife and all his children and grandchildren.

Many years ago, I was the last to enter the elevator up to the old Noonday Club...and Gene held the door for me as it was crowded, but he made room for me, as he made room for many things in his life, all for the better. Condolences to his family, a giant of the City, and citizen of the world.
