In the couple times I got to meet Lucy & Gene my memories are of a quiet man who was kind and had a great smile . Somewhere in the boxes of photos I have a bunch of pictures taken with both of these sweet cousins! Reading his obit was enlightening and heartwarming. I wish I could have been around to hear his stories and learn from him.
May all of you find peace in having had Gene as your father(in-law), grandfather, uncle, cousin, friend - a good man with a good heart.

I am so sorry that all of you had to go through yet another death in your family. I wish I could have been there in person. I have fond memories of Gene taking me out to eat and telling wonderful stories. I will miss him dearly.

I was very sad to read the news of your dad's passing. He was a great neighbor and always good to me when I was growing up on St. Jacques Ave. I'm very sorry for you guys that he's gone.
