I was raised next door to Eugene. In fact, our grandmothers were sisters (Endres). We attended the same schools and church. To me, he's too young to be gone. He is described as "a loving, good and gentle man" is exactly how I remember him. My sympathy to his family. Sincerely, Mariel Siegel Hawley
