For you dad...your always in my heart.

Dad,

You were the best man I ever knew. I was always very proud of you. I always felt safe when you were around and always knew you would direct me in the right direction. You always knew what to say to make me feel better. I am going to miss you so much and you can bet that I will think about you each and every day of the rest of my life. You were a wonderful dad and friend.( I will miss hearing your voice but I know you will always be with me. I love you always and forever.

I worked at Pct.# 12 with Gene for may years. He was a gentleman, and a good Police Officer. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We are so sorry for your family's loss. Our thoughts & prayers are with you & yours.

The Sheff Family

Jen and family,
We are very sorry for your loss. Your dad fought right till the end. He got the one thing he wanted and that was to make precious memories with Jake and Alex. He will watch over them and keep them safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was extremely saddened to hear of Eugenes' passing. While I never had the chance to work under his command, I had the pleasure of assisting him on numerous calls in the patrol division. I was able to get to know Eugene on a social level and always admired his love and dedication to the police force. He will be missed.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Gene was a friend and colleague at Precinct 12 in the early 90's. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Evelyn, please accept my heartfelt condolences. I first met you and Gene, 50 yrs. ago (N.Y. Central RR). I left to go with the State Police, Gene with the Buffalo PD. Although we were not close, we did have contact from time to time over the years. My memories of Gene are a classy guy who I was privileged to have known. Once again, my deepest sympathies for your loss.
