Sorry to hear this. I worked with Gene in the early 80's at a power supply company in Mansfield MA (Datel). He gave me my first job in marketing. Gene was the best technical writer I have ever worked with by far. He was concise, complete and to the point. He was exceptionally kind to me, showing a great deal more patience for someone who was way over his head than I probably deserved.
