I wish to express my condolences to Ambrosia Cooke and the other members of the family of this Grand Lady. Mrs. Simpson was a dedicated and stalwart member of Bethany Baptist Church, one who led by example, not rhetoric. No matter when you saw her, she blessed you with that beautiful smile. MEMORIES- Such a sweet and kind spirit is how I remember when I first met beloved Eugenia. She was resting in bed looking at me with peircing peaceful eyes that were filled with loving kindness. She had a smile that was sweet and welcoming. I couldn' t help being drawn to the divine light within her heart.
