Graveside services for Eula Irene Head, age 86 of Savoy will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 13, 2006 in Burns Cemetery in Trenton, TX, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Earl Oglesbee will officiate. Mrs. Head passed away early Friday, March 10, 2006 at Mullican Care Center in Savoy.

Mrs. Head was born April 16, 1919 in Celeste, Texas, daughter of the late John Barr and Mary Teague Barr. She married Grady B. Head, Sr., and he preceded her in death, Mar. 23, 1971. Mrs. Head was a member of First Baptist Church in Trenton. She was a homemaker and a home health aide. She was preceded in death by a son, Grady B. Head, Jr. (Aug. 9, 1969) and two brothers, Roy Barr and Ray Barr.

Surviving are:
Sons: Johnny Head and wife, Lea of Whitewright Ronald Head of Leonard
Daughters: Karen Isom and husband, Kenneth of Sherman Brenda Montgomery and husband, Paul of Bells
Brother: Melvin Barr of Leonard 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren

Aunt Eula is thought about often and I know if my dad was alive, he would miss her very much.

Eula was well loved and to this day she is Sorley missed. My dad, aunt Eula's brother truly loved her, now they are reunited in heaven never to be separated again.

I was sadden to see that your mother had passed away. I, too, lost my mother several years ago, but I still remember the four of us; Eula, Mom, Karen and myself riding around just to get out of the house.
