Eula Mae Pearce Massey

Eula Mae Pearce Massey, 87, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Rex Healthcare from complications from pneumonia. Eula was born March 13, 1927 in Wake County to the late John Wesley and Bessie O'Neal Pearce. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class. Eula was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Eula is survived by her daughters: Lynn M. Burnette and husband, Jim, Gail M. Davis and husband, Tim, and Vickie Massey all of Knightdale; sister: Betty Jo P. Polzin and husband, Ted of Louisburg; sister-in-law: Lib E. Pearce of Zebulon; grandchildren: Michelle Southerland, Heath Birdsong, Joy McCombs, Matthew and Mark Manning, Christopher Massey, John Manning, and Heather Massey; 10 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton P. Massey; sons, Frank Massey and Phil Massey; daughter-in-law, Karen G. Massey; grandson, Luke Manning, and nine siblings. Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 8400 Poole Road, Knightdale. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and other times at the home of Jim and Lynn Burnette. Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church in Memory of Eula P. Massey.
