Eunice C. (Downs) Drew, age 90, formerly of No. Main Street in Milton, NH, died early Sunday morning August 3, 2003 at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, NH, where she most recently resided.

Born March 18, 1913 in Barnstead, NH, the daughter of the late Arthur and Maude (Welch) Downs, she was raised there and resided in the Pittsfield area for years and has resided in Milton, NH since 1941.

She was a shoeworker in several area shoe shops, employed as a dresser. An avid gardener, she enjoyed bingo, crocheting and especially loved her grandchildren.

The widow of the late Dwight S. Drew, who died in 1998, she is survived by 3 daughters: Rena D. Fortier of Milton, NH, Beverly F. Starkey of Orange, MA and Lola E. Drew of Farmington, NH, 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren, a brother Fred W. Downs of Citrus Heights, CA, also several Nieces and Nephews. she was pre-deceased by a daughter: Norma Cutter, a grandson: Donald Starkey and a brother: Herbert Downs.

The family would like to thank Dr. Charle and Riverside Rest Home for being so kind.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 5, 2003 at Peaslee Funeral Home 32 Central St. Farmington, NH at 11:00 am with Rev. Linda J. Rackcliffe, pastor of the Community Church of Milton, officiating. The calling hour is an hour prior to the service from 10-11 am. Interment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery in Pittsfield, NH. Sorry to hear of your loss. Even though it has been many years since I visited with any of you I remember the smile on your Mom's face whenever I visited with you girls. I cherish the good times we had and the warm family your Mom provided. My condolences to you all.
