Mrs. High-T was my favorite teacher. She was my mom's favorite teacher too!. She exuded a style and confidence that was unforgettable. Rest in Peace, Soror!

Each time I fry chicken I think of Mrs. Hightower. "Don't stab it with the fork so the juices will stay in." Juicy chicken is what I get each time. There are so many things that Mrs. Hightower taught us at Lincoln High School. She was always so neat and pretty. We had to live up to some high standards with her as a role model. I grew up with Butch and I know what a wonderful Mom she was. In Junior High school she always allowed Butch to have parties in their garage, including a few...

To the family,
My condolences go out to you. I remember Mrs. Hightower, and some fond memories or her...she was quite a character. Tommy Faison posted about the White Caddy, and I had to laugh....I remember that. As for looking at us over those glasses, that was my favorite. She was an amazing teacher.

Mrs. Hightower will be truly missed. She was one of my favorite teachers. She inspired me greatly to stand for what I believe. Class of 1981 (EHS)

Mrs. Hightower was quite the "Diva." She exuded confidence and style. She was one of my many great influences in my becoming a soror. I admired her fiestiness and sophistication. Mrs. Hightower will surely be missed.
