Each time I fry chicken I think of Mrs. Hightower. "Don't stab it with the fork so the juices will stay in." Juicy chicken is what I get each time. There are so many things that Mrs. Hightower taught us at Lincoln High School. She was always so neat and pretty. We had to live up to some high standards with her as a role model. My condolences go out to you. I remember Mrs. Hightower, and some fond memories or her...she was quite a character. Tommy Faison posted about the White Caddy, and I had to laugh....I remember that. As for looking at us over those glasses, that was my favorite. She was an amazing teacher.
