Not sure what to say?

I was a life long Huntsville resident until almost 4 years ago, when I moved to Orlando Florida and married the most wonderful man a woman could ever hope for, Jamie Thompson. We have since moved to Toney. I took my new groom to Aunt Eunice's restaurant so that he could sample the wonderful Country Ham. He absolutely loved it!! Her warm nature and sweet disposition made you feel like you were walking into your Grandmother's kithcen. Of course, my favorite was that you could always get fried...

I have always wanted to meet Aunt Eunice. But I had never ever got the time to meet her.I hate to see her go. But, I know she will be with God and will always be in our hearts.May God be with her and Bless her friends and family.

My wife and I are missionaries in Venezuela now, but I have fond memories of always going by Aunt Eunice's for breakfast when I was in Huntsville. For many years we lived in New Mexico and I had to travel to Huntsville on business. I always took colleagues who traveled with me by for a REAL breakfast. None were ever disappointed in the breakfast or the hospitality. Huntsville's loss is Heaven's gain. May God, the only source of peace, be with you all.

I had the pleasure of knowing Aunt Eunice and speaking with her on serveral occasions. She was a wonderful person and a great friend. I loved to stop by for a great breakfast and sometimes just for a quick cup of coffee and a few kind words. I enjoyed reading her column in the Old Huntsville Times magazine. She will be missed greatly.

I only had the pleasure of meeting "Aunt Eunice" twice when we drove from Moulton especially to eat breakfast at her restaurant. I had heard so much about this lady, I felt I had to meet her. I am so glad I did. I talked to her each time I was there, and I paid her the highest compliment that I could.I told her she reminded me of my mother because she was such a gracious loving person. My mother also had a hug for everyone she met.
I hope they meet each other in Heaven. What a glorious...

Inever got the chance to meet such a wonderful lady .I read all her column in old Huntsville magzine. I always planned to visit her when I was in Huntsville .I missed out on meeting her my prayers are with her family

To the Family and Friends of Aunt Eunice. I never met Aunt Eunice but I felt as if I did. I was so sorry to hear of her passing but she will always be remembered. She loved people and everyone love her. I know now that you don't have to personally meet someone to be fund of them. Aunt Eunice, you will be missed and always loved. To the Family, you lost a loving and sweet person. Be strong and May God Bless and Watch over each of you.

Some people we never get a chance to meet personally during their lifetimes, but upon their decease, you realize what a profound impact they have made on their community. This is the case of Eunice Merrell. My prayers are extended to the Merrell family and to everyone that she touched with her generosity and kindness. A life well lived!
