Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home Pinckneyville IL on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday morning at the First Baptist Church Pinckneyville IL from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to either the Nine Mile Cemetery Association or the Perry County Jail Museum Society.

Dear Melody,

As a young boy I attended Nine Mile Baptist Church when I was spending summers with my Grandparents on their farm. Your Grandfather, Axum, would get out of Eunice's car and come over to greet me and rough up my hair every Sunday.

I became very interested in my family's history and corresponded with and even visited your Mother and Gene to obtain some information. Eunice was very pleasant and helpful in pursuing my family's history.
