We went often to Furrs on 50th St. I remember that she would push the cart with tea, water, and ice and would make sure that the customers would have enough to drink with their meal. We would engage her in conversation and she told us that she was planning to go to modeling school. She always had that dream. She was a woman who did not have a high profile job, as society would define it, and yet she touched so many lives.

Chris was always so kind to our family. In the 90's we took our MHS son and his football friends to Furr's weekly, and her kindness and hospitality were so evident. Also, my father, B. J. Randles would give her a "hard time", kidding her about any number of things, which she took in stride with a wink and a smile! Her life made a difference! Our prayers are with you.
