EVA BAIRD

BAIRD, Mrs. Eva Jones, of Brodnax, died December 17, 2010. She was a member of Brodnax United Methodist Church and was active in the United Methodist Women at the church. She was the last survivor of eleven children. She is survived by her son, Garland Baird and wife, Ruby Joyce; her granddaughter, Elaine Piercy and husband, Steve; her grandson, Nelson Baird and wife, Chyrel, all of Brodnax; two great-grandchildren, Laura Beth Piercy and Kathryn McAden; two step great-grandchildren, Aaron Dix and Spencer Moseley; two great-great-grandchildren, Peyton and Maddison McAden; two step great-great-grandchildren, Trey and Ashton Moseley; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment in Canaan Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
