When dad go his first job, after getting his masters, we moved to Buffalo (around 1966) and Aunt Marie and Uncle Art helped us find a place to live (right next to her house and Aunt Leah) and welcomed us into the family. Even with my mother's memory problems she has not forgotten the years we spent in Buffalo and the family we made. Sending hugs and lots of love to Marti and Kenny and the...

Marie Coles Baker (never knew her first name was Eva) was a beautiful, trusted friend. She was always willing to be of assistance whenever and whereever she could. Marie was a woman of her word. You could always depend on her to "do the right thing."

I met Marie on the Charlottesville Pilgrimage to Alabama and she was a wonderful woman. She was very kind and she will be missed.

Tranquil Moments Peace Lily

What a wonderful, powerful woman. May her memory be a blessing to family and friends. Condolences to the family and friends.

I knew Marie first through John Baker, when he was on the School Board and Marie made encouraging comments when I spoke for teachers... but then through AATF, and the power team of Marie and Enid... What a wise, fun, classy woman!

Marie was my across-the-street neighbor when I first moved into Rivercrest, 20 years ago. Such a lovely woman-so welcoming to a newcomer. We will always remember her kindness and wonderful spirit. Our condolences to her family.

Ms. Baker was a honest special amazing lady which I will miss, but never forget Sending my condolences to the family

A legacy most proud and one that will live on. Rest in Peace Mrs. Baker.
