South Berwick, ME- Eva M. Coffin, 89, of 4 Crescent Court, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.

Born April 25, 1914 in West Medford, MA, she was the daughter of Frank and Margaret (MacDonald) MacMillan.

Eva moved to South Berwick after her graduation from Medford High School, class of 1933. She was a stitcher at South Berwick Shoe for many years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of South Berwick. In addition, she was a member and Past Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge, South Berwick Woman’s Club and the former Modern Priscillas, a group of ladies from the First Baptist Church.

Family members include one daughter, Cynthia J. Nason of So. Berwick; two sons-in-laws, James Nason of South Berwick and James Diciccio of Anaheim, CA; seven grandchildren, Kimberley Nason of South Berwick, Cheryl and David Ahia of Stanton, CA, Beth and Eddie Lloyd of Riverbank, CA and Michael and Brandi Nason of Travis Air Force Base, Fairfield, CA; six great grandchildren, Courtney Schoff, Rebecca Ahia, Miranda Nason, David and Andrew Ahia and Colin Nason; several nieces and nephews.

Eva was predeceased by her husband, Melvin F. Coffin in 1984 and by a daughter, Jane A. Diciccio in 1998 and by two sisters and five brothers.

Relatives and friends may call Saturday from 6-8 PM at McIntire-McCooey Funeral Home, 301 Main St.. The funeral will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday at First Baptist Church, Main St., South Berwick with Rev. Phil Woodman, former pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

My dad was a Coffin his name was Ralphborn in 1916 in south berwick me and i was wondering if he might be a relative. His fathers name was charles not sure about his mothers name
