Eva J. Hodgins

Eva J. Hodgins, age 87, longtime resident of Northwood passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Beehive Homes in Marion, MS.

She was born in Danville, NH daughter of the late Wilfred and Bertha (Hartford) Thibeault. She was one of eight children.

Eva worked as a telephone operator for many years for NE Bell, AT&T, and Verizon. She enjoyed travel, playing games and puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Eva was predeceased by her husband Samuel Hodgins of Pittsfield NH. Survived by her 2 daughters, Carol Hall of Meridian MS and Barbara Wentworth of Meridian, MS. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren in various states.

Visiting Hours will be held Friday, January 26th from 1PM to 2 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.

Funeral Services will follow at 2 PM in the Chapel at the Waters Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Spring at Hillside Cemetery in Pittsfield.
