Eva Thomas Hull, 93, of 235 South Pointe, Cowpens, died on Monday, October 18, 2004, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Hull was born in York County, on August 28, 1911, a daughter of the late William A. and Lula C. Jane Thomas. She was the widow of Carmie Hull. She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church of Blacksburg, and was a retired seamstress.

Surviving are a son, Johnnie Thomas of Cowpens; two grandchildren, Eva Payne of Roebuck and Lee Thomas of Irmo; and one great-grandchild, Thomas Evan Payne of Roebuck.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at the Lanford-Dunbar Funeral Home, prior to the service. Cryptside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Roebuck. The family will be at their respective homes.

i loved mrs. hull very much. She was a great inspiration in my life always a kind word to say and that beautiful smile of hers . She loved her son with all her heart and soul. I will miss her greatly at MARANATHA
