Not sure what to say?

I met Eva when I was a spring student at the lab in 1999. I ended up working in the same lab as Eva for about four months and she became one of my best friends. She had one of the greatest smiles ever seen and could always make me laugh. She let me crash at her place, took me to my first swing concert (Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums), listened to me talk, and forced me to play soccer. Although we had not kept in touch, I never forgot her. My heart goes out to David and all her friends....

The world is a lonlier place without you, beautiful Eva, but also a richer place because you are now watching over all your loved ones.

Having formerly worked at Bodega Marine Lab for over two years I can say that out of all the great folks there, the two that I could always count on for a smile were Dave and Eva. I am very saddened to hear about Eva's passing, and will miss her. Everyday I wish that her pain had only come from our occasionally rough soccer playing. David, my friend, my prayers are with you as well as with the rest of Eva's family. I know that we all feel lucky to have known such a positive and...

In support of the Martasian family, David and Eva, I was honored to run the Sacramento Race for the Cure in celebration of Eva on my tee-shirt, and raise more than $300 to search for the cure for cancer. I continue to celebrate the spirit of David and Eva's love, and include them and their families in my prayers.
Blessings!

Although I never had the opportunity to meet Eva or David I am deeply saddened by the news of Eva's passing. It is obvious the Eva was a beautiful young lady and David is a wonderful young man and they had a beautiful love...David know that you are in my thoughts, take with you the many memories you have of Eva and cherish them. Thank you "Uncle" Paul and Nancy for sharing Eva and your son with me! You are all in my thoughts and prayers!!! God Bless!!

I knew Eva only through my dear friend, Paul Martasian. Paul kept me informed about Eva's progress, throughout. Such a young, intelligent, woman; life's promising star. May you find happiness with the Lord, Eva. Rest in peace.

For those who knew Eva her passing has left a hole in their lives that can be joyfully filled by memories of her friendship, laughter and love. For those of us who never had the chance to know her, we are left with a "hole" undug. Perhaps this is the greatest tragedy.

Although I met Eva six years ago in a herpetology class, I really got to know her when we spent spring quarter 1998 studying at the marine lab. I will always remember when I found out Eva and David first started dating; I knew instantly that they had something special.

Eva, I will miss your contagious smile and laughter. You brought so much happiness and joy to so many people and I'm glad I had the chance to know you.
