Dear Deb,
I first met your Mom when I started in 2007 as the manager of Ten Thousand Villages. She was warm, exuberant, friendly and fun. She immediately made me feel welcome as the newcomer. I remember when she so graciously hosted a volunteer appreciation potluck at her home. My husband and I stayed to help clean up, but she preferred to spend the next hour and a half visiting with us. My husband and I were friends with Don and Eve for many, many years.
They were a wonderful couple who enjoyed life to the fullest. After Don's death Eve continued to be a strong woman and involved herself in many community activities. Eve was a friend to all.

I met Eve when I began working at Bendix Woods County Park three years ago. She was an amazing lady, with so much passion and heart. I loved working with her and will miss her dearly. I can picture her in heaven reunited with her husband. She will be a beautiful angel!
