Jan & Family, what a beautiful lady Eva Jean was. She exemplified the ultimate southern charm and grace, and was always a joy to be with. We are so sorry that we missed the service for her on Tuesday. She was in my parents's wedding in 1947. Mother always cherished her friendship. God bless you all; find comfort in the knowledge that she is with the Lord. Much love to your family...Ginny Dillard Fountain and Alice Dean Dillard

Jan: I am sure you do not remember me since it has been over 30 years since I last saw you at Bessemer High School and Dartmouth Avenue, but I have fond memories of you and your mom, whom I remember quite fondly. Both of you were beautiful on the inside and outside. My prayers are with you and Mike during this time of loss.

Eva Jean was our back yard neighbor in "The Crest". We cherished her friendship and appreciated all she did to make our neighborhood such a loving, caring community. May God comfort you and give you peace.

Mrs. Eva Jean was such a blessing to our family, she was a precious friend, neighbor, and Bible Study leader for many years. She was of great support to my family after my mom passed away. It brightens my heart to think about the reunion she and my mom must have had on Friday and to imagine them together worshipping the Lord. What a wonderful spirit Mrs. Eva Jean had and what a blessing it was to be around her, any and every time. She will be dearly missed by me.
