Eva Lucille Summers, daughter of the late Hubert Franklin Shannon and Mary Etta (Pendergrass) Shannon was born May 14, 1936 in Nettleton, Arkansas. She entered into eternal rest January 17, 2021 at the age of eighty four years.
She was married to Norman Glynn Taylor March 28, 1953 in New Buffalo, Michigan.
She was married to Eldon Ray (Buddy) Summers January 31, 1959 in West Plains, Missouri.
She was a member of the Elk Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church in West Plains, Missouri where she served as an Elder.
She worked at International Shoe Company for 20 plus years. She had many hobbies which include painting, quilting, gardening, traveling, entertaining family and friends and helping her husband on the family farm.
She is survived by one brother Harold Franklin Shannon and wife Anna Faye of Henderson, Arkansas, two daughters Donna Jeffus and husband Charles Camden, Arkansas, Tracy Jones and husband Rick West Plains, Missouri and one son Randall Gene Summers West Plains, Missouri.
Nine grandchildren Jason Brian Koonce and wife Lori of Pineville, Missouri, Robert Shawn Blackburn (Crystal) of Camden, Arkansas, Aaron Kennedy of Springfield, Missouri, Krista Ousley and husband Jeremiah of West Plains, Missouri, Megan (Dwayne Gallagher Jr), Ian Summers, Caleb Summers all of Camden, Arkansas, Rachel (Cody Ratton) of Chidester, Arkansas and Alexis Jones of Springfield, Missouri.
Nine great grandchildren Abby Patterson and husband Matthew Bryant, Arkansas, Alexander Blackburn, Esther Blackburn, Michael Biggers, Wesley McDivitt, Aidan Gallagher all of Camden, Arkansas, Heartlee Ratton, of Chidester Arkansas, Lindsey Busby, and Hailey Busby of Centerton, Arkansas.
Two great great grandchildren Rowan Patterson of Bryant, Arkansas and Wyatt Robbins of Centerton, Arkansas, many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved so dearly.
Her parents, husbands, one daughter in law Jeanne (Click) Summers and two sisters Christine Howard and Illa Faye (Mize) Hicks precede her in death.
There will be a visitation at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR, Tuesday from 6-8PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains, Missouri. Burial will be in Howell Valley Cemetery in West Plains, Missouri.
