Not sure what to say?

Dear Kathy and Matthew,

Words cannot express how sorry Tony and I are for the passing of Evan. I know that you, and Matthew will miss truly miss his presence in your lives in so many ways...church outings, cub scout activities as well as sports events. Our hearts go out to you both for your great loss of a partner for many, many years and a great father to Matthew. I love you both...Jeanne and Tony

I would just like to say that Kathy, Matthew and Evan were a great family. The three of them always participated in family activities whether it was a church outing, cub scouts, or just the three of them going on a weekend outing. I know that Kathy as well as his son, Matthew will deeply miss Evan in their lives. I love them both and wish them both the very best in these tough circumstances. Love you, Jeanne

Evan was a kind man. He was always gracious and cared about what others thought. I knew him though our Giants fan message board and met him as well. I never saw him speak ill of anyone and he had a way of making others feel better about themselves. He cared to hear what others thought even more than just telling us what he thought. He had wit, humor and a humbleness about him that made him a great man. Good Bye my friend, rest in peace

I was so shocked to hear of Evans passing and my heart reaches out to the family during this time. While I knew him only online he was a true gentleman and a great fan, always upbeat and a pleasure to have known him

We are so saddened by Evan's passing, someone who so many of us knew from our younger years in Keansburg. Our sincere condolences to his family; he will always be remembered.

The loss of someone so close is so difficult to bear. I share your grief.

Having been speaking with Evan for years on our board, I had come close to thinking of him as a dear friend. Words alone cannot express my sorrow that I feel for your loss.

From all of us here at the BBH, may God bless him and may God help you with your loss. We will always remember him and honor his memory.

Evan,

We'll miss your insight & camaraderie in life and the BBH. RIP my fellow Giant fan. My condolences to Evan's family my family's prayers go out to you.

I am also a member of the BBH, the online message boards that Evan was a member of. I understand that it is only a message board, but we are truly like a small family, and hearing of Evan's passing has shaken us to the core.
I have been speaking with Evan for many years on our site and had come to think of him as a good friend. I also had the privilage of meeting him this past October at a small get together from our group. In fact, we both had the same Eli Manning jersey on. It...
