Not sure what to say?

Nell, Rip and Nellie,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. Our best to your sweet mom.
Love,

Dear Nell:

Jane and I send condolences for your loss. Evan
was aways very kind and welcoming to us. The term gentleman is often overused, but not in Evan's case. He was a true gentleman.

Best,

I want to extend my deepest condolences to the family. I always loved my chats with Evan and Nell at the Sea Island beach club. Evan was such an inspiration to me in my Real Estate career. The fact that we shared a birthday was also fun! I know you all will miss him, as will many! My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Much love to the Mathis family. Evan taught my sister in Sunday School in Atlanta. Then, I met him and Nell again when we all relocated to St. Simons. He was a loved man by all who met him.

Dear Nell, Lane, Nell, and Carol, Your aunt Lane told us about Evan and we are thinking about you. I remember your family's visits and the airplane rides with Evan! We won't make it to the service because of grandchildren Christmas commitments, but will make a donation to the Oakland Foundation in his honor.

Nell, am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was always one of my favorite people. When he saw you and said "Hello", you always had a brighter day. My heart goes out to you, your Mom and all of your sweet family. God will get you through this with His love. Sending love and hugs! Valee Sewell Penn

Nell, Carol, and Lane,
Of course the entire Texas McGehee contingent is so sad that Evan has passed on. We are all praying that your faith as well as your love and wonderful memories of Evan will comfort you in the days ahead as you go forward without him beside you.
We love you all. Graham
