Not sure what to say?

Mr. Moore-haha. Hey Dad,
Today is your birthday, and it is still wild that you are not here to celebrate it with us. The last time I checked in, I was undergoing the law school application stress and figuring out how to make sure I put my best foot forward. Fast forward a year and some, and now you are looking at someone who has been accepted to 17 out of 23 law schools., including the University of Chicago, Georgetown, Vanderbilt, Cornell, Duke, Washington University in St. Louis, etc....

Hey Dad, time has flown by. I am 21 years of age now and figuring out applications for law school. I know you already know this and are watching me go through the process, but I wanted to put down on paper. I miss you and love you. The Cowboys just appointed a new head coach -- finally.

I am stunned. I am saddened. Evan was one of my Lieutenants during the Persian Gulf War. He was a Tank Platoon Leader in the Tank Company I commanded in the 1st Armored Division. I wish I had known of his passing 5 years ago. Ethan, you are welcome to call me anytime. I will tell you what kind of a soldier your father was, and how you can be proud of the courage he displayed on the battlefield in Iraq. I am in Rhode Island, at 508-365-1619. - Jim Goldberg

Dear Dad, Today I turned 18 years old. I am now considered a grown man, legally to get analytical about it, but I want to say that I think about you everyday. Today hurts the most, because you are here with me in my heart, but not here physically. You're not here to say congratulations on making it this far. Congratulations on learning how to drive. Congratulations on committing. But I know that you are proud of me. You set the foundation for me to grow as a man and a good person. I love...

I miss you so much Dad.

Evan was my Supervisor and he was always on a mission to look after his team. He showed great leadership and encouraged us all. I am still in shock of his transition. However, I believe that he has transitioned to his heavenly mansion. I am sure that Evan misses every single person whom he loves and was acquainted with. Evan, you were truly a blessing to us all. I believe that GOD has you in complete happiness and comfort. All smiles for you here on earth. My condolences to all of your family...

Evan was the light of my day at the Call Center while I was working in house. He will be missed, but his light will always shine...
