Not sure what to say?

Working for DCFS will never be the same without Evan fighting in our corner for our children. He always had their best interests at heart. To all of Evan's family... words cannot express how sorry I am for you'r loss, but just know that now he is around all of us making sure that we are all ok. The short time that Evan was on this Earth he did so much good, now he get's to do it off the Earth. Evan I will miss you and all of you'r silly emails. Thanks for being such a bright light in a dimly...

Pat, Kent, and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Evan's passing. Nothing ever prepares you for this experience. Thank goodness for the knowledge that this seperation is just for a short time. What a loving Heavenly Father to give us eternity with our loved ones.

Evan Nebeker and I shared an office wall. His office had a window so I spent a lot of time with him discussing our lives, our jobs and everything else in the world. Evan is a funny man. He is caring and he brought joy. My heart mourns for our loss. But I am full of hope. He brought hope to friends and family and to those children he so diligently represented. My love to the family and my hope that you will find strength and feel our love.

I saw Even in court just before his passing. He was advocating for his clients, 10 little children who he wanted to make certain had beds. We DCFS were orderd to get beds within 48 hours. I talked to my workers about this presher thinking they might resent it. All said Evan was a pleashure to work with, and my worker who was given the job of finding beds reported that Evan was his favorite Gardian Ad-litem. He would listen and was reasonble and worked in a calaboritive way in the interest of...

Dear Taunya, We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are in our thoughts and daily prayers. Our love to you - your cousins, Patricia (Pitts) Stone and Ron Pitts (Aunt Esther Pitts' children)

Taunya, "the boys", and family,

May your memories of Evan, faith in the gospel, and knowledge that he defended those who could not defend themselves bring you peace. Until your joyful reunion, God bless.
