i did not know evan personally. I met his this semester at ACC. He sat in front of me in astronomy class. We talked in class and we took the same route home so we drove side by side. He was a great guy. He was down to earth and had a great talent for drawing. I know God is with him and his family now. He was cared and loved for by his family and friends. I know he will be missed. It will be differn't in class now without him, sitting in front of me drawing. May evan rest in peace.

I did not know Evan personally. I graduated from Hays High in 2002. My father passed away from Colon Cancer on Nov. 30th 2007. He is buried near your son. My family and I felt led by God to reach out, and let you know your family and friends are in our prayers. If you need anything at all you can find us at the cemetary visiting my dad. His name is Bruce Wayne Baker. God gives us strength in our down times. Your son will be missed, but never forgotten. He is with my dad, and so many wonderful people watching over us. May Evan's Light continue to shine on us all...God Bless...

Evan was a part of us at Brick Oven, we were like a second family in some ways, we cared about each other, stuck up for each other and had fun together. Evan was honest, caring and sweet. The waves of grief are crashing through everyone right now...we are holding on to each other and know the storm will calm in time. We will always be holding Evan in our hearts. All of us will be here for you, Mike, Martha and Eric for you are also part of us now. Every heart is with you!

Mike and Martha,& Eric, I was so sorry to hear about Evan. It is so hard to cope with losing a child.We know exactly what you are dealing with. It has been 15 years since we went through the same thing and I guess it gets easier but not much. Just remember you are in our thoughts and prayers and we understand just what you are going through. Our Dusty was 21 years when he had his wreck ,too.God decided he needed Evan in Heaven to be one of his Angels, of course we can't truly understand why he would take something so precious to us away from us, but it wasn't meant for us to understand . Just know that someday you will see Evan again, We are looking forward to the day we will see Dusty again.If at any time you need to talk just give me a call or tell Linda and she can call me and I will call you.
