Not sure what to say?

Stevenson Family:
Nancy and I remember Evan fondly for the years we knew and worked with him in student government at USU in the early 1960s. He will always hold a special place in our memories for his support and kindness. He was and is a great friend and person.

Gary and Family,
Praying our loving Father in Heaven will comfort you at this time when words fall short. May He answer each prayer offered for you with strength of heart, peace of mind, and comfort in the midst of sorrow.

Jean and the Stevenson Family
You and your family are in our hearts and minds today. We learned yesterday of Evan's passing and were moved by a deep feeling of loss and sadness.
We reminisced of the good times we had while you were our neighbors in Park Center in Mesa. The Elders in our Ward were our dinner guests last evening and Elder Christenson from Logan recalled Evan's historical barn with a message of some magic medicine as a Logan landmark.
There are only a few instances in...

Other than my own father, Even was one of the men I have always looked up to and held in the highest esteem. My very first job was filling pop and candy machines at USU for Evan. He made me feel so that I never wanted to disappoint him in any way. I asked him to speak when I left on a mission as one of two men who most influenced me for good. The world has lost a giant, but his influence and memory will live on for generations and more. We send our sympathy and love.
Curtis and Marilyn...

As a young man in Logan, Evan was always an individual that I looked up to. In later years as my Dad worked for him at USU, he was always very positive about their relationship. I'm sure he will be missed.

Gary and Lesa, our deepest sympathies go out to you and the rest of your family with the loss of your father. He was, and continues to be, a great man and example to all of us. I would guess that one single tribute could be written about Evan and as long as the words kind, faithful, compassionate, genuine and humble were included, everyone could sign on because I'm sure over the past few days, you have heard the very same sentiments from everyone about your Dad - that he treated everyone...

Evan was our adviser for Student Government in 1963 when I was at USU. I love you Evan for all the advice and counsel you gave me as my mentor and for your outstanding example. It was wonderful to come to your home in N. Logan for a visit recently and to renew our acquaintance. Gayle and I love you for who you were and who you continued to be throughout your years of service.

Sincerely, Boyd Whitesides

We loved being able to know Evan and Jean and will treasure those rays of sunshine that he spread our way whenever we had the opportunity to visit with him. May his memories fill your mind, warm your heart and bring you peace and comfort at this time. Warmest regards, Burt and Linda Black
