To Margreet and family, I am saddened by my cousin Evan's death and wish to send you my deepest condolences. I will certainly donate to the Len Lye Foundation. I have visited the gallery in New Plymouth on a number of occasions and always thought of Evan. He did such an enormous amount of work to maintain the profile of Mr Lye. I am thinking of you all. Sad to hear Evan has succumbed after a long brave battle. My heart goes out to his family. May he rest free from the pains and constraints of this physical world.

Sending my condolences to the family. I had the privilege of being a student in his class. Room 21 Highlands Intermediate 1973. Evan was a teacher that created and shared great experiences and provided a creative learning environment. I have fond memories. One of my best teachers. RIP Evan.
