Evan C. Wilfong of Newark DE, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Evan C. and Mary (Colfer) Wilfong.
Mr. Wilfong was a self-employed tool designer. He was a member of the American Legion Post #810 and Maryland Saltwater Sport Fishermen's Association. He was a lifetime boater and avid salt water fisherman both on the Chesapeake Bay and Gulf of Mexico at Madeira Beach, FL.
Survivors include his wife Terri (Klitsch); brothers Charles and Dennis; sister Leslie Dillon and husband Bobby; as well as sisters-in-law Anne M. Woods (Klitsch), Betsy Klitsch, Patti Poochigian (Klitsch) husband Robbie, Ellie Klitsch and Jeanne DeMunzio (Klitsch) husband Steven.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday 9 AM St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave. Phila., followed by his Funeral Mass 11 AM. Interment is Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Fr. Judge High School ALumni Assoc., 3301 Solly Ave., Phila, PA 19136 in his memory would be appreciated.
