Not sure what to say?

Do not stand at my grave and weep - I am not there, I do not sleep. I am the thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond's glints upon the snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush. Of birds in circling flight, I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die. God's Peace.

You do not know me, but I am a parent of three children in the Mtka Schools, two of them at the high school. Please know that your son will not be forgotten and that his death has impacted all of us. It has caused great reflection to many of us and our children on the preciousness of life. God has Evan in heaven and is taking very very good care of him, and I think he would want you to know that. My children have expressed their concerns about the safety of the ice on MN lakes and have...

I am so sorry for your son and his
girfriend. They loved each other from what I read and they were such
a cute couple. Such a sweet story
with a sad ending. At least they
are together. My heart goes out to
both families.

Evan was a really great friend of mine that I met through Jackie. He was really colorful and always lived how he wanted to and no one could tell him otherwise. Evan was always smiling and they were genuine. Evan was such a great guy. I give my heart to the Wilsons and those who were close to him. I love ya and I'm gonna miss ya.

Please know that so many of us share in your grief at the loss of these two wonderful kids called Evan and Jackie. My son Nate knew Jackie from MMW but had met Evan for the first time at MHS. Nate told me of Evan's incredible personality and zest for everything he did - quite a character! May God keep you in his hands now and always.

Although I wasn't very close to Evan, he was someone that I did talk to and have memories of. I knew him throuhout middle school and part way through High School. He was a great friend to everyone and there will always be a memory and space in my heart of him.

Evan was a very special and unique person. He didnt care what others thought of him. He was friends with everyone, from the jocks, to stoners, to the geeks, to me. he will always be remembered.

I didn't know Evan. However, my Boyfriend went to Vo-tec with him. He is having a very hard time with this. He misses his friend. Its hard for me because two young people are now gone and now I see my boyfriend is in pain. I am praying for everyone who is hurting.

"The sea recedes - but leaves behind bright jewels in the sand..." Evan and Jackie were the brightest of jewels and will always be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort and strength in your memories. Our hearts are with you and you are in our thoughts and prayers always.
